I’m Peter, a Sales Coordinator at Clear Voice, and I’ll be explaining how to use our on-demand telephone service.
You start by calling our on-demand telephone service on 020 70 434 127.
Next you enter your unique six-digit PIN followed by the hash key. You then enter the three-digit code for the language you require. We will provide you with an up-to-date list of language codes.
Press 1 to confirm that the language is correct, then press 1 again to be connected to the next available interpreter.
Please hold until the system connects you. Our wait times are typically under 40 seconds.
Once you’re connected to an interpreter you can easily add a third party to the call. Simply press 9 on the keypad and then dial the third party’s number. You can repeat this process to add as many participants as you need to.
Whilst navigating the automated system you can press # at any time to speak with a member of the Clear Voice team. This is particularly useful if you have a specific request, for instance the gender of an interpreter, a particular dialect, or LGBT+ awareness.
Finally, please note that if you do not want the service user to see your phone number you must withhold your number before dialing the interpreting line.
